Event-Driven Workflow Automation

We built Relay using a Node.js/Express backend and MS SQL to handle hierarchical delegation and complex task lifecycles. By integrating event-driven triggers via AWS SNS/SES, we automated tasks, status transitions, notifications, and manager escalation workflows based on calendar dates and project milestones.
